Bird’s Crop and scaly wings

What is a Bird’s Crop?

I didn't know either. Check out the link and find out!

What are butterfly wings made of?

I knew this, but the magnified pictures are very telling.

  3. Thanks Ambika! something new to learn. But my daughter is so phobic to moths and butterflies, her scream usuall rents our colony whenever she sees even a pea-sized one. I showed here the enlargement of the proboscis and when she realised what it really is, she screamed and ran away.... However I enjoyed the post !
