Tree-spotting!

Are these cherry blossoms in Chennai?!

The afternoon sky was ablaze with the light hue of pink and the road below strewn with these flowers, as they dropped, light as rain, twirling as they came down.

And you thought Madras has no flowers?

    We have these very large tabebuia trees in Madras, some of them in Anna univ and YMCA are just HUGE.

    the other day, I also saw a specimen in bhaktavatsalam nagar Adyar, just Gilles with flowers.

  5. yes I see them while walking, only the trees call you to lift your head a bit and then they are really gorgeous. Malathi.
