Bangalore diaries - Neeta's oasis
The biggest luxury in urban India these days is silence. Human sound silence I mean. A quiet that lets the sounds of the non-human world through. Silence and the company of friends, quiet conversations, walks and of course good food. 😀
I got all this and more, last weekend. I even made new tree friends.
The fig tree demanded a selfie, and I obliged, the fruits smiled at me, and the leaves shut out the sky.
These fruits wanted their personal space, so I brought them into focus, |
the bauhinaia were curious and peeped down from their perches. |
The Powderpuff branches swayed their helloes |
While this budding model wanted a portrait taken. |
Twin star fruits stood out from the rest, |
While the Foxtail palm fruits were at their Xmas best! |
We wandered among them in happy companionship, .I will be back there I am sure, some time soon. I need to catch up with those Millingtonias I missed. Thanks my friend!
