to the majestic Peregrine Falcon Vismaya at MRC Nagar.

From the white-cheeked barbets and busy Asian Tits at Cubbon Park Bangalore

to the songster Spot-breasted Fantails of Raheja Vihar, Mumbai.

From the Indian grey hornbills at IIC, Delhi

to the Indian Scops Owl and ducks at Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

From the Rosy starlings flypast at Lothal, Gujarat

to the feeding Flamingos in the Rann.

From the Black bellied plovers at Kelambakkam

to the Brahminy Kite at Saul Kere

From the plentiful oriental Pratincoles at Chembarambakkam

to the great barbets, rufous sibias, Red-billed Leiothrix in Sikkim.

Fro the soaring Osprey at Siruseri

to the Chestnut-bellied sandgrouse, short-toed snake eagle, Striolated Bunting at Bhigwan.

And finally to the last lifer this year - on 29th December!- the grey-bellied cuckoo at the Broken Bridge.

262 species did I see, so lucky was I. 112 in Chennai itself.
