Day 41 - Cassia blooms I spy
My morning walk delight today. Cassia fistula - a late bloomer. Most trees in the neighbourhood had an April bloom - this year was particularly splendid.
But our lady here, she forgot to bloom then, and is showing her glorious colours now. Or maybe she wanted to standout, be separate from the herd, do her own thing.
Whatever the reason, I enjoyed standing under and staring at the garlands of yellow, falling sumptuously, and the bees and other insects, buzzing around in happiness.
This tree and flower deserves a festival; a festival of viewing. Like the Japanese and the cherry blossoms.
